We can be very flexible with working hours and don’t necessarily work 9 to 5 so if you require work before 9am or for us to work late into the evening to get work back to you as and when you need it you can request this service.  This will incur an increased cost.  We aim wherever possible to work to client requests with regards to timescales.  For a small extra fee, we can prioritise your work over others to get work back to you more quickly wherever possible.

Why not let Word Perfect worry about the typing side so that you can concentrate on what you do best.  It is surely more cost-effective to do it this way if you compare your hourly rate to our hourly rate.

We have over 5 years’ experience working for barristers/QCs in Chambers who are all members of and/or represented by The Bar Council.  We have experience of typing a wide range of different documents as listed below.

Testimonials for legal sector

“Fast and efficient service, great quality too. Would highly recommend and will use Kerry’s services again! Kerry helped out in a very short timescale and turned around the piece of work to an excellent standard.”

Natasha Jacques, Solicitor at Howells Solicitors LLP.

“Kerry is timeous and accurate. Her rate is extremely reasonable, and she goes that extra mile in times of pressure to enable the job to be carried out and completed with her continued attention to detail.”

Bruce Frew (Barrister at St Philips Chambers)

“I am delighted to recommend Kerry’s work. Kerry has typed my dictation (which is a challenge to anyone) quickly, accurately, and without complaint. I have been impressed by her willingness to learn and adaptability. I am looking forward to continuing to work with her.”

Raymond Cox QC (Fountain Court Chambers)

“Kerry Parker has been undertaking audio transcribing for me for over five years.

The work which Kerry does for me involves the typing of Opinions, Advices, Written Arguments, Pleadings, Letters, as well as technical drafting work such as Contracts, Statutory Regulations etc. Much of this is specialist regulatory and commercial work, some of it international. It is not uncommon for the documents Kerry works on to be complex: in a large case, a single document may extend to well over 100 pages and involve a wide variety of technical terms and names, all of which must be transcribed with scrupulous accuracy.

We first started working together in 2014 and Kerry very quickly adapted to my particular area of legal drafting and was soon turning work around extremely quickly and with ever-increasing accuracy.  Kerry has been familiar with the work and with the way I dictate it for some years, so that I am fully confident that any piece of work I send to her will be returned swiftly and without errors.

There are particular qualities about Kerry which I would wish to stress.  First, she is prepared to put herself out to ensure that a piece of work is returned very quickly.  She has undertaken work for me – for example in urgent cases – working late into the night or in the early hours of the morning and at weekends. If she can make time to do the work, she will, and she unfailingly delivers on what she promises. Second, she is concerned to ensure that her work is accurate.  She will check through everything before sending it back whilst faithfully sticking to what I have recorded.

I have come to rely upon Kerry for her work. She is unfailingly calm and helpful, and I have no hesitation in recommending her.”

Timothy Dutton CBE, QC (Fountain Court Chambers).

“I have used Kerry’s transcription service from time to time for preparation of arbitration awards. Even though this is irregular work, Kerry has always responded promptly and produced accurate and reliable transcription.”

Tony Marks (ArbDB Chambers).

“I needed a transcript preparing at short notice mid-trial; Kerry turned it round in double quick time – outstanding service and accurate – thanks!”

Tim (Favell Smith & Lawson Solicitors)
